The 2024 NHL Winter Classic presented by Discover features two powerhouses doing battle on Monday, Jan. 1.

The outdoor hockey game has the Vegas Golden Knights taking on the Seattle Kraken at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, WA, with face-off at 3:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. PT.

It will be broadcast live on TNT, as well as live-streaming simultaneously on Max (via Prime Video). Cord cutters can watch the match with any live TV streaming service that carries TNT, like DirecTV Stream, Hulu + Live TV and others.

DirecTV Stream offers TNT in all of their packages with prices starting at $69.99 per month for the entry-level Entertainment tier, while it also includes more than 75 channels — such as AMC, Bravo, CNBC, Disney Channel, ESPN, FX, HGTV, Nickelodeon, TBS and much more.

In addition, the streamer has a free 5-day trial available, which is more than enough time to watch the NHL Winter Classic 2024 online for free. You can either cancel or keep the service after the free trial is over.

Meanwhile, the NHL Winter Classic 2024 is also available to stream on Max (formerly known as HBO Max) — thanks to the service’s B/R Sports hub for access to NHL on TNT. If you’re already Amazon Prime member, then you can add Max to Prime Video for an additional $9.99 per month.

Not a member? Sign up for a 30-day free trial to take advantage of all that Amazon Prime has to offer, including access to Prime Video; fast same-, next-, or two-day free shipping with Prime Delivery; in-store discounts at Whole Foods Market, access to exclusive shopping events — like Prime Day and Black Friday — and more.

The NHL Winter Classic 2024 will broadcast live on TNT starting at 3:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. PT. However, the best ways to watch the game online without cable is with DirecTV Stream or Max via Prime Video.
